<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precipitate moving device for eliminating the need of a blade for sweeping a precipitate such as sludge, thereby eliminating the risk of breakage even when encountering a large earthquake, reducing equipment cost, and facilitating maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: The precipitate moving device a1 provided in a sedimentation basin receives raw water containing a precipitate, precipitates the precipitate on an inclined bottom surface 4, moves the precipitate precipitated on the bottom surface 4 to a pit 5 provided on a low position of the inclination of the bottom surface 4, and discharges treated water obtained by precipitating the precipitate.
