<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device that can detect shaft wobbling in a wheel bearing device to thereby prevent defects such as noise or vibration from getting worse. <P>SOLUTION: The wheel bearing device includes: a wheel bearing 51 for freely rotatably supporting a wheel relative to a vehicle body side member 13 provided swingably on a vehicle body; a shaft wobbling detection member 55 disposed coaxially with the wheel bearing 51, facing a wheel side member 35 with a predetermined interval K when shaft wobbling does not occur in the wheel bearing 51, and for integrally rotating while in contact with the wheel side member 35 when shaft wobbling occurs in the wheel bearing 51; a rotation sensor 60 for detecting the rotation of the shaft wobbling detection member 55; and a control part 62 for reaching a determination that shaft wobbling has occurred in the wheel bearing 51 when the rotation of the shaft wobbling detection member 55 is detected by the rotation sensor 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
