<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-phase converter capable of reducing a ripple current. <P>SOLUTION: In the maximum boosting voltage (in FIG. 10, Vb=650 V) of a two-phase magnetic coupling type converter where a current ripple Δ I<SB POS="POST">L</SB>becomes maximum, a binding rate a is set so that the ripple may become equal (or not more than that) to a current ripple Δ I<SB POS="POST">L</SB>of a conventional type converter, and a self-inductance L and a mutual-inductance M are determined so that the set binding rate a can be acquired. Thereby, while suppressing a current ripple, it becomes possible to design a converter which is small in physical constitution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
