PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency in a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A battery cell 20 of a secondary battery comprises a battery cell case 50 having such a structure that it can be divided into an expansion surface 71 and a non-expansion surface 72. A battery module 10 of the secondary battery is constituted by arrangement of the battery cells 20 so that surfaces facing each other in the adjacent battery cells 20 are the non-expansion surfaces 72 and the outside of the battery module 10 is the expansion surfaces 71. When internal pressure of the battery cells 20 rises, spaces 80 provided between the battery cells 20 are not closed, and thus air flows around the battery cells 20, thereby allowing efficient cooling. |
