The present invention relates to novel benzene diol derivatives and whitening cosmetics comprising the same. The present invention provides benzene diol compounds having excellent whitening activity by strongly inhibiting melanogenesis and skin-whitening composition comprising the same. ′A is derived from an aromatic cyclic compound, C1 and C2 are derived from a cyclic compound having two hydroxyl groups connected to No. 1 and No. 3 positions (meta positions) or No. 1 and No. 4 positions (para positions) respectively. R1 and R2 are saturated or unsaturated and linear or branched acyl groups. R3, R4, R5 and R6 are respectively and independently one or more substituents selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl groups, alkoxy groups, acyl groups, hydroxyl groups, vinyl groups, nitrile groups, carboxyaldehyde groups and aldehyde groups.′ |
