Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for filament linearization. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a transporting device transporting filaments; a heating device equipped with a heating channel which forms a transporting path for the filaments; and a cooling device disposed on a lower side of the heating device in a transporting direction and comprising a cooling channel so as to keep the transporting path for the filaments running, wherein the cross-section areas of the heating channel and the cooling channel are overlapped at least partially.
