PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high capacity nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent charge and discharge cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a battery assembly step for inserting a positive electrode and a negative electrode, where a negative electrode mixture layer containing a material that can be alloyed with lithium is formed on a negative electrode collector, into an exterior body while facing each other via a separator, a primary charge and discharge step performing charge and discharge 1-9 times by injecting first electrolyte containing halogen-substituted cyclic carbonate, and a second charge and discharge step performing charge and discharge by injecting second electrolyte containing cyclic carbonate having carbon-carbon unsaturated bond in the exterior body. |
