PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, device, and system for detecting the occurrence of a disaster event and providing a disaster warning to users.SOLUTION: The method includes receiving a warning notification with an out-of-band (OOB) processor 122 of a computing device. The warning notification may be received by the OOB processor 122 while an in-band processor 124 of the computing device 102 is in a reduced-power state. The method also includes generating a user alert on the computing device 102 in response to receiving the warning notification. The method may additionally include detecting the occurrence of a disaster event and transmitting data to a remote server 104 in response to detection of the disaster event. |
