PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organopolysiloxane which provides excellent storage stability of a resin composition to which the organopolysiloxane is blended, and which becomes a material equivalent to an organopolysiloxane having a mercapto group and a hydrolyzable group.SOLUTION: A novel organopolysiloxane is represented by average composition formula (1) and has an organic group having at least S-Si bond and a hydrolyzable group. (A)(B)(C)(R)(R)SiO(1), where A is a mercapto group-containing organic group, B is an organic group having an S-Si bond, C is a hydrolyzable group, Ris a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, Ris a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, 0≤a<1, 0<b<1, 0<c<3, 0≤d<1, 0≤e<2, and 0<a+b+c+d+e<4. |
