The present invention relates to a food waste treatment apparatus discharging wastewater, according to a water level measured by a water-level sensor, and which uses microorganisms to decompose food waste, comprising: a housing formed in the shape of an empty case having an inlet on the upper side into which food waste flows and an outlet connected to a water pipe in the lower portion, from which waste water and solid materials are discharged; a first valve formed on the outlet for opening and closing the outlet of the housing; an inlet hose formed inside the housing through which water flows into the housing; a solenoid valve formed to spray water at a predetermined water pressure to the portion in which the outlet and the water pipe are connected to prevent the solid materials from being filed up in the outlet; a water-level sensor which has a first electrode installed in the lower portion of the housing and a second electrode installed in the intermediate portion of the housing, opens the first valve for a predetermined time to start the operation of the solenoid valve when the first electrode and the second electrode are applied with an electric current by waste water inside the housing, and closes the first valve when the first and second electrodes are not applied with an electric current so that wastewater is discharged according to a water level measured by the water-level sensor. Thus, the present invention provides the food waste treatment apparatus discharging waste water according to a water level measured by the water-level sensor, processed in such a manner that the water level is measured by the water-level sensor, and waste water is then discharged when the waste water begins to fill over the predetermined water-level so that the waste water is discharged according to the water level measured by the water-level sensor. |
