<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a technical means performing the accurate centering of a lens having a small Z value without damaging the lens. <P>SOLUTION: A centering device of a lens centering machine is provided. The centering device includes: an optical measuring instrument receiving the reflected light or the transmitted light of an optical beam projected to a lens surface on a holder and outputting a light receiving position; a pusher provided separately from a rotary grinding wheel processing an outer periphery of the lens; and a sending device moving the pusher toward an axial center of the holder. The holder is rotated in such a manner that an eccentric direction of the lens is directed toward the pusher based on the measurement value of the optical measuring instrument and the pusher is advanced toward a holder center based on the measurement value of the optical measuring instrument. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
