1. A device, comprising:
a memory storing a table that includes a plurality of group identifiers (IDs) and a list of subscriber numbers of subscriber devices associated with each group ID of the plurality of group IDs,
each subscriber device, of the subscriber devices, being subscribed to a messaging service provided by a customer application executing on a customer device; and a processor to:
receive a group ID from the customer application and via the customer device;receive a message from the customer application and via the customer device;compare the received group ID to the plurality of group IDs included in the table in the memory;in response to the received group ID matching at least one group ID, of the plurality of group IDs, utilize a particular list of subscriber numbers, associated with the received group ID, to provide the message through a communication network to particular subscriber devices associated with the particular list of subscriber numbers;receive, from the particular subscriber devices, status messages indicating whether the message is received by the particular subscriber devices; andprovide a group status message to the customer device after receiving the status messages from the particular subscriber devices,
the group status message indicating a number of the particular subscriber devices that received the message. |
