Reinforced boards and/or walls, and methods of producing thereof. In some non-limiting examples, there is provided a reinforced gypsum board and a process for the production thereof. In one example, the reinforced board may include one or more reinforcing elements, e.g., to enhance the rigidity of the board and/or to provide support for the board.

1. A reinforced gypsum board comprising:
a first sheet comprising a paper material; a second sheet comprising a paper material; a layer of gypsum plaster sandwiched between the first sheet and the second sheet; and at least one reinforcing sheet entirely embedded within said layer of gypsum plaster, wherein at least first and second opposite surfaces of said reinforcing sheet are entirely in contact with said layer of gypsum plaster.
