According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device for providing a message service comprises: a communications unit for transceiving a message with an opponent device; a display for displaying a received message, a message inputted by a user of the electronic device, and at least one reply message provided by the electronic device together on a message service screen; and a processor for recommending at least one contents by using the received message, and providing the reply message to the opponent device to display the reply message including at least one recommended contents as the message inputted by the user of the electronic device in the opponent device. |
