The present invention relates to a shock absorbing roller supplementing a shock absorbing function for a guardrail installed on a road and, more specifically, to a shock absorbing roller of a guardrail, which is manufactured by injection molding and has a function of inducing a speed in a desired moving direction of a vehicle and returning the speed, wherein the shock absorbing roller of the guardrail absorbs shock when the vehicle collides with the guardrail since the shock absorbing roller is installed in the guardrail on an intersection of a highway, a crossroad, a tunnel, a road, or a median strip on a road. The shock absorbing roller (100) for a guardrail has a cell (130) formed between an outer container (110) and an inner container (120) as a shock absorbing unit. The outer container (110), the inner container (120), and the cell (130) of the shock absorbing roller (100) are integrally manufactured since a thermoplastic is injection-molded in an injection mold, and the cell (130) arranged between the outer container (110) and the inner container (120) has a radial symmetrical structure on a center axis. |
