The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for adjusting a visible area of a head up display, capable of automatically adjusting an eyebox (visible area) of a head up display to be optimally located so as to be fitted to the vision of a driver by using a room mirror positioning sensor. The method for adjusting a visible area of a head up display includes the following steps: sensing a vertical and horizontal rotation angle of a room mirror by using a sensor; generating a motor driving signal corresponding to the rotation angle; and driving a motor of a head up display module according to the motor driving signal and rotating a plane mirror controlled by the motor in vertical and horizontal directions to adjust a position of the eyebox. |
