The present invention relates to a variable geometry turbocharger having a minimum flow setting function which uses a stopper arm to mechanically rotate and fix a control ring to eliminate an occurrence of an error, and can be repaired by simple replacement work when becoming decrepit to reduce manufacturing costs and maintenance and repair expenses. The variable geometry turbocharger having a minimum flow setting function comprises: a control ring formed in an annular shape and provided with a plurality of vane arm grooves formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof at regular intervals; a plurality of vane arms mounted in the vane arm grooves; a plurality of vanes connected to the vane arms; a vane base ring which is connected to the control ring by a support pin, and forms a flow channel with the control ring; a stopper arm installed on the vane base ring to rotate and fix the control ring; and a vane covering rotatably mounted on the vanes. |
