Disclosed is a sealing apparatus which seals a gap between a lower portion of a washing chamber of a dishwasher and a pump chamber. The sealing apparatus comprises: a packing member mounted along the upper end of the pump chamber; and a protective member to fix a portion of the packing member on the pump chamber to prevent the packing member from moving when mounting the lower portion of the washing chamber and the pump chamber on each other.
