According to the present invention, disclosed is a video recording apparatus for a vehicle. The video recording apparatus is capable of automatically recognizing a blind spot and transmitting the recognized information to a user device. The video recording apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a photographing unit for receiving image information around the vehicle by being installed outside the vehicle, wherein the photographing unit has four channels consisting of a first camera installed in the front side of the vehicle, a second camera installed in the rear side of the vehicle, a third camera installed in the right side of the vehicle, and a fourth camera installed in the left side of the vehicle; a control unit for monitoring the instantaneous change rate of RGB pixels about each of image information inputted from the third camera or the fourth camera and generating a warning signal and event log data if the instantaneous change rate of RGB pixels about arbitrary image data of the image information inputted through the third camera or the fourth camera is above a preset range; a voice output unit which is triggered to output a warning message as voice by the warning signal; and a display unit which is capable of outputting image information inputted in the photographing unit and is triggered to emit light by the warning signal. |
