Provided is a seat belt coupling apparatus. The seat belt coupling apparatus includes: a belt tongue having a latch groove whose lower part is open; a housing member having a space accommodating the belt tongue; a latch shaft which is combined at a fixed position in the housing member as being rotatable, and is configured to be hooked to the latch groove at a first rotation posture and to be released from the latch groove at a second rotation posture; a rotary member which confines the latch shaft into the first rotation posture and the second rotation posture by being inserted into an outer circumference of the latch shaft in order to be rotated together with the latch shaft; a rotary bias member for pressurizing the rotary member in the first rotation posture; a vertical movement member which is arranged to be movable vertically at a lower part of the belt tongue accommodation space in the housing member, and confines the latch shaft in the second rotation posture by contacting the rotary member when the belt tongue is not inserted, and is separated from the rotary member by being lifted down by the belt tongue when the belt tongue is inserted; and a vertical bias member which pressurizes the vertical movement member upward. |
