The present invention relates to a laundry treating system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a laundry treating system including an external terminal and an apparatus for treating laundry configured to communicate with the external terminal, wherein the apparatus for treating laundry comprises: a power input unit; a course selection unit formed to select one course among the predetermined courses; and an execution input unit for driving the apparatus for treating laundry according to the selected course. After inputting the power supply into the apparatus for treating laundry and before inputting an executive instruction through the execution input unit, the external terminal is formed to display the information for the external environment and one or more recommended courses that are predetermined based on the information for the external environment. According to the present invention, when the course selection unit of the apparatus for treating laundry includes a plurality of courses, a user can easily determine which course is appropriate depending on the external environment such as season or weather through the information of the recommended courses displayed on the external terminal. |
