The present invention relates to a lamp disconnection detection device and a method thereof. The lamp disconnection detection device comprises: a power supply unit supplying power to a vehicle; an operating unit supplying operating power to one or more lamps installed in the vehicle; and a control unit supplying operating power to the lamps, measuring an inrush current value generated by the lamps at each time zone, and detecting disconnection of the lamps according to the inrush current value.
