Provided is a method for manufacturing a hydrogenation catalyst comprising the following steps: forming a precipitate by mixing copper salts and colloidal silica; removing anion of the copper salts from the precipitate by washing the formed precipitate; and soaking alkali metal in the precipitate without anion.
