According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for generating a depth map comprises: a communications interface for receiving a video; a processor for generating a depth map of the video according to a predetermined command; and a memory for storing the command. The command is to perform the following steps: receiving an input which sets a start point and an end point; calculating a reference figure corresponding to the start point and the end point; and generating the depth map corresponding to the reference figure. |
