The present invention relates to a composition comprising mojabanchromanol b as an active ingredient for preventing or treating atopic dermatitis, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The composition of the present invention is effective in preventing and treating atopic dermatitis by reducing an amount of IFN-γ and IL-4 secretion by at least 80%. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: (1) extracting mojabanchromanol b from Myagropsis myagroides; (2) filtering an extract of mojabanchromanol b; and (3) freeze-drying the extract of mojabanchromanol b.
