The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of an atypical secondary battery. The manufacturing method of an atypical secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: a basic unit production step of producing a basic unit by exposing at least part of a separation membrane through forming an open area in a portion of an electrode enclosing the separation membrane, while alternately arranging an electrode comprising a positive electrode or a negative electrode and a separation membrane; a folding step of arranging a plurality of basic units on the separation membrane in a row, and folding adjacently arranged basic units to be sequentially stacked; a fusing step of fusing a portion where neighboring separation membranes are overlapped with each other by the open area; and a removing step of removing the fused separation membrane. The atypical secondary battery has improved wetting properties of an electrolyte, and can flexibly change a form thereof depending on a use.
