The present invention relates to a central control apparatus, a facility control system and a method of controlling facilities, which control the facilities to detect a number of occupants in a conditioning region according to situation change, predict energy consumption of the conditioning region using a heat balance equation based on the detecting result or perform conditioning of the conditioning region. In the facility control system comprising a conditioner for performing the conditioning of the conditioning region and the central control apparatus for controlling the conditioner, the central control apparatus includes a control unit for controlling the conditioner to perform the conditioning of the conditioning region based on the heat balance equation, and the heat balance equation is established by first heat quantity according to change rate of temperature in the conditioning region and second heat quantity in accordance with change amount of heat quantity flowing in the conditioning region, wherein the second heat quantity includes human body heating value calculated based on the number of the occupants in the conditioning region. The central control apparatus for controlling the facilities, the facility control system including the same and the method of controlling the facilities use the heat balance equation based on the number of the occupants in the conditioning region calculated according to the situation change, thereby predicting accurately the energy consumption of the conditioning region. The conditioning is performed based on the predicting result, and thus wasted energy problem can be solved. |
