The present invention relates to a steering column device for a vehicle, comprising: a distance bracket coupled to an outer circumferential surface of a tube wherein a steering shaft is inserted and penetrated by an adjustment bolt; a tilt bracket coupled to both sides of the distance bracket and having an elongated hole where the adjustment bolt is fastened in a longitudinal direction; a mounting bracket where the tilt bracket is fixated and mounted in a vehicle body; and a pressing member connected to the adjustment bolt to enable the tilt bracket to be closely attached to the distance bracket. The tilt bracket comprises a cut-out slit cut from an end part of the elongated hole near the mounting bracket in an arc shape to have a predetermined fixing force when the cut-out slit is pressed and having both end parts which are formed along both side surfaces of the elongated hole. Therefore, the present invention controls flexibility of the tilt bracket in order to efficiently fixate a steering shaft using a small force.
