The present invention relates to a wire position detecting apparatus for a welding nozzle. The wire position detecting apparatus for a welding nozzle comprises: a nozzle entry frame in which the welding nozzle is inserted and supported; a lower support shaft vertically arranged on a lower portion of the nozzle entry frame; a contact pin arranged coaxially with a wire aligned to a center position on an upper portion of the lower support shaft; an elastic member disposed between the lower support shaft and the contact pin to elastically support the contact pin; and a detection sensor to detect whether the wire is aligned to the center position using a height of the contact pin. |
