The present invention relates to a device to measure the thickness of subcutaneous fat and, more specifically, to a device to measure the thickness of subcutaneous fat with an open-ended globular waveguide, and a method to measure the thickness of subcutaneous fat by using the same, capable of measuring the thickness of subcutaneous fat and skin of a human body in real time with high accuracy by optimizing a propagation characteristic of an open-ended globular waveguide for the human body. According to the present invention, the device to measure the thickness of subcutaneous fat and the method to measure the thickness of subcutaneous fat are capable of quickly and accurately measuring the thickness of subcutaneous fat and skin by using simply formulated algorithm. |
