The present invention relates to a menu management apparatus which can easily and quickly manage a menu which a user wants by providing modes for controlling menus of home appliances to the user, and a method thereof. According to embodiments of the present invention, the menu management apparatus comprises: a communications portion which performs communications with electronic devices; a display portion which displays an electronic device list which shows the electronic devices; and a control portion which displays, when a first electronic device is selected from the electronic device list, preset modes for controlling menus of the selected first electronic device in the display portion, and sets, when a first mode is selected from the preset modes, the first mode in the first electronic device in order to allow the menus of the first electronic device to be set in accordance with the selected first mode. |
