The present invention relates to a method for preparing red ginseng blocks by using red ginseng powder. According to the present invention, solid red ginseng blocks are prepared by conducting a dry heat treatment operation with respect to red ginseng powder used as an ingredient. The red ginseng blocks have high microbiological safety and maintain the content of Rg1 + Rb1 + Rg3 which are effective ginsenosides, thereby enabling the heat-treated red ginseng powder to be consumed directly and the red ginseng powder in the blocks to be dissolved excellently in hot and cold water. The red ginseng block preparing method can be used in dietary supplement product markets using the red ginseng powder.
