The present invention relates to a tilting apparatus of a steering column for a vehicle. More specifically, the present invention prevents teeth of the gears from being locked by a guide gear when a moving gear moving in accordance with manipulations of a manipulation lever is closely attached to a fixing gear unit to be engaged with each other in order to improve operational sensation of the manipulation lever felt by a user.
