PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel resin system for an advanced process using a curable composition as a matrix resin in a process such as resin transfer molding (RTM), vacuum assist transfer molding (VaRTM), resin film injection (RFI), prepregging and towpregging, especially manufacturing of a composite article having improved performance properties.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a composite article in a process such as RTM, VaRTM, RFI, prepreg and towpreg system by using a thermosetting composition and a material capable of volume expansion when exposed to a high temperature condition, e.g. expandable microsphere.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
