PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle having a lightened driving wheel peripheral portion.SOLUTION: Rotation output from a crankshaft 40 of an engine 31 is shifted by a shift mechanism 35 to be transmitted to an output shaft 34. The output shaft 34 has a first pulley 73 fixed thereto. A second pulley 75 is connected to a rear wheel 9 acting as a drive wheel. A toothed belt 76 is wound around a first pulley 73 and a second pulley 75. The toothed belt 76 transmits power from the output shaft 34 to the rear wheel 9 via the first pulley 73 and the second pulley 75. A swing arm 8 supports the rear wheel 9 in a swingable manner around a shaft center of the output shaft 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
