PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means and method that efficiently fix an adjacent winding in a circular core transformer kernel.SOLUTION: A support frame for an electrical transformer assembly comprises two loop-shaped components. Each loop-shaped component has plural rims 83, 85, 87, 89. Each rim has a peripheral recess portion, and a primary electrical coil is mountable in the peripheral recess portion. At least one secondary coil is mountable in a piggyback style on the primary electrical coil, and one rim of each loop-shaped component has a linear section. The frame is configured by fitting one of the loop-shaped components to the other loop-shaped component so that only the linear sections are adjacent to form a center leg, and contains a projection portion 84 as adjustable fitting means for adjusting the distance between the loop-shaped components. The center leg serves to receive a magnetic core different from the fitting means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
