摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dimensional accuracy of a split core unit and reduce cogging of a brushless motor for an electrically driven power steering device having a step skew structure.SOLUTION: A stator 2 has a split core structure and a rotor 3 has a step skew structure. A magnet 16 is mounted to the rotor 3 through a magnet holder 17. A stator core 65 is formed by stacking annular piece plates 51 made of core pieces 42, and split core units 43 are formed by diving the stator 65 along its circumferential direction (division process). Also, a plate for a rotor is formed from a bore part punched from the piece plate 51 (plate for rotor molding process). A coil is individually wound around each of the split core units 43 (winding process); and the split core units 43 formed by dividing the same stator core 65 are rejoined in the same combination as when it was divided (reassembling process).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
