PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method and device for generating and processing MAC-ehs (expanded high-speed medium access control) PDU (rearrangement protocol data unit).SOLUTION: MAC-ehs SDU (service data unit) is multiplexed on the basis of a logic channel identifier. A rearrangement PDU is generated from the multiplexed MAC-ehs SDU. The rearrangement PDU contains at least one MAC-ehs SDU and/or at least one MAC-ehs SDU segment. When MAC-ehs SDU is nor fit within the rearrangement PDU, it is divided on the basis of a priority class. MAC-ehs PDU is generated to contain at least one rearrangement PDU. MAC-ehs SDU may be stored in a priority queue before rearrangement PDU is generated, or the rearrangement PDU may be generated from the multiplexed MAC-ehs SDU.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
