摘要 The present invention relates to an array substrate for liquid crystal display device having a built-in gate driver, which implements a narrow bezel, blocks moisture penetrating into the gate driver and prevents a deterioration of the liquid crystal display device, and a manufacturing method thereof. The array substrate comprises: a gate connection line formed on a substrate in which a gate driver is formed; a gate insulation film formed on the substrate containing the gate connection line, and having a first contact hole which exposes the gate connection line; an active pattern formed on the gate insulation film, and placed certain distance away from the gate connection line; a source connection line and a transparent electrode pattern sequentially formed while surrounding an upper part and a lateral part of the active pattern; an interlayer insulation film and an organic insulation film pattern formed on the gate insulation film in the form of a stacking structure, and placed a predetermined distance away from the source connection line; a first protection layer formed on the substrate and having the first contact hole exposing the gate connection line, and a second contact hole exposing the transparent electrode pattern; and a conductive material layer formed on the first protection layer while connecting the gate connection line and the transparent electrode pattern by means of the first contact hole and the second contact hole.
