Provided are a monoclonal antibody which specifically binds to nucleocapsid of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), a combinatorial antibody of the same, a kit and a composition comprising the antibodies for diagnosing MERS-CoV, and a method of detecting MERS-CoV. The monoclonal antibody in the present invention specifically binds to an epitope represented by an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 or SEQ ID NO: 4.
