PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for treating hair fibers, particularly hair.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for treating hair fibers comprising: (i) applying steam to the hair fibers at a rate of 5 g/min or less; and (ii) shaping the hair fibers at a temperature greater than 50°C; where the application of the steam and the shaping are not continuous.SELECTED DRAWING: None
