The invention relates to a method for separating the volatile fatty acids in a sample on a grafted monolithic silica column by means of low-pressure chromatography, after prior derivatization of the volatile fatty acids contained in the sample, as well as to a device for analyzing the volatile fatty acids by means of low-pressure chromatography. The is particularly useful for managing waste and sewage, in particular within sludge processing units that use anaerobic methods (methanization, for example), in the context of operating biological purification stations, as well as for the effluents and waters of the agrofood industry, or even discharges. |
