The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing red ginseng, which has a color without browning, is not deformed, and has an enhanced medicinal effect, by using high-temperature/high-pressure. More preferably, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing red ginseng with an enhanced medicinal effect by using high-temperature/high-pressure to maintain not only an original color but also an original shape of a processed ginseng product without damage and, at the same time, to enhance a ginsenoise (saponin) ingredient. According to the method for manufacturing red ginseng, the red ginseng is manufactured by: inserting selected ginseng in a tumbler washing machine; washing the ginseng to be clean; immersing the red ginseng; picking up the immersed ginseng; mixing 50 parts by weight of one or more among Schisandra chinensis, Crataegus pinnatifid, Cornus officinalis, quince, plum and 100 parts by weight of ginseng, inserting the same in a mesh net, and heating the same; steaming the ginseng; and drying the ginseng at 50-55°C to maintain a moisture content of 14%. The red ginseng is manufactured by operating a pressurizing device when a heating temperature becomes higher than 100°C, applying the pressure of 0.5-1.3 Mpa to the ginseng for 10 minutes, a short time, in a temperature range of 168-178°C, and steaming the ginseng. |
