The present invention relates to an apparatus for analyzing geological time and geological information which automatically sketches a geological image, if photographed, to analyze the geological time and the geological information and display the analyzed time and geological information on the geological image (or sketched map information) and a method thereof. The apparatus for analyzing the geological time and the geological information according to the present invention comprises: an image sensor for photographing the geological image to output digital signals; an image compression unit for compressing the digital signals output by the image sensor; a memory for storing the geological image compressed by the image compression unit; a control unit for reading out the geological image stored to the memory, sketching lines, points, etc. of the geological image using a computer graphic technology to generate map information, analyze the time and the geological information (detailed information on the geological science) by applying the five principles of the historical geology to the generated the map information, and displaying the analyzed time and geological information on the read-out geological image or the sketched map information; and a display unit for displaying the geological image or the map information, in which the time and the geological information are expressed, output by the control unit. |
