The present invention relates to a polymeric compound, a method and an intermediate product for manufacturing the same, a liquid crystal (LC) medium comprising thereof and, more specifically, a polymeric compound in LC display, particularly a polymer-stabilized vertical alignment type LC display, for optical, electronic-optical and electronic purposes. Provided is a novel material to be applied to a PSA display having high solubility among various LC medium used as a host composition. The polymeric compound has remarkably high resistivity, high VHR value, low threshold voltage and short response time, and reduces or prevents afterimage in a display. |
