The assembly has a fixing unit for fixing an external element, and a set of magnetic plates (1-3), where some of the plates have T shaped cut-outs (12, 13) to form a housing receiving an insert e.g. nut (10). The insert is provided with a fixing unit i.e. screwing unit, and includes a fixing axis i.e. screwing axis. The housing is arranged to retain the insert in the assembly. A wall of the housing is in contact with an exterior surface of the insert to immobilize the insert in rotation about the screwing axis and to retain the insert along the screwing axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a set of magnetic plates for electromagnetic machines. |
