The present invention relates to a method for improving a crest factor. According to the present invention, a device for improving a crest factor comprises: a peak detecting unit configured to detect peaks which exceed a predetermined clipping threshold value of x(n), which is an input signal; a peak grouping unit configured to group peaks within a preset window length; a variable window unit configured to vary a window level and length; an adder configured to add 1 to -w_new(n), which is a varied window function; and a multiplier configured to output x_pw(n), which is a clipping signal. Therefore, the device efficiently improves a crest factor in a multiple access communication environment. |
