The present invention relates to a folding chair configured to be folded to be stored and to unfolded to be used and, more specifically, relates to a small size type folding chair which can improve convenience in use by adopting an arm support member in a folding chair manufactured to be a small size wherein a width is narrower and a height is low. According to the present invention, provided is the small size type folding chair, wherein the whole framework is formed so as to fold or unfold the whole or a portion of a front support, a rear support, and both side supports wherein a middle portion is hinge-coupled by being connected and hinge-coupled to each other using an upper and a lower fixing member. Moreover, a rear support rod is erected to be installed in the upper and lower fixing members placed in a rear portion, and a seat on which a user sits and leans is coupled from the upper fixing member placed in the front to the rear support rod. Further, the arm support member installed to be extended in an external side direction is individually provided in left and right sides of the rear support rod placed in both sides.
