摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for diagnosing the state of a fuel cell stack and a method thereof. Provided are the apparatus for diagnosing the state of the fuel cell stack, and the method thereof, processed in such a manner that a difference between a voltage of the fuel cell stack and a moving average voltage of the fuel cell stack is converted into a frequency to detect harmonic components, based on the detected size of the harmonic component, and the fuel cell stack is diagnosed. Therefore, the state of the fuel cell stack is diagnosed, with high accuracy, by decreasing deviation of harmonic components even if a change in the voltage of the fuel cell stack is relatively large. To this end, the apparatus for diagnosing the state of the fuel cell stack of the present invention comprises: an alternating current applying unit for applying an alternating current to a direct current of the fuel cell stack; a voltage measuring unit for measuring the voltage of the fuel cell stack; a moving average voltage calculation unit for calculating the moving average voltage based on the voltage measured by the voltage measuring unit; a voltage difference calculation unit for calculating a difference between the voltage of the fuel cell stack measured by the voltage measuring unit and the moving average voltage calculated by the moving average voltage calculation unit; a voltage-frequency (VF) converter for converting the result calculated in the voltage difference calculation unit into a frequency; and a diagnosing unit for diagnosing the state of the fuel cell stack based on the size of the harmonic components of the frequency converted in the VF conversion unit.
