The present invention relates to an air purifier and a method for automatically changing dust sensor sensitivity thereof. The method for automatically changing dust sensor sensitivity of the air purifier, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the step of: changing the sensitivity range so that upper limit of the sensitivity range of a dust sensor is a maximum value of a measured value based on the measured value measured by the dust sensor for a predetermined period; and being allocated in a plurality of fan rotation levels after dividing the changed sensitivity range by a plurality of ranges having the same size.
